Taylor

Taylor Swift has become a uncommon pop sensation: a superstar who crossed over completely from traditional music into pop culture to become a global icon which will be around forever, and capturing the hearts of millions across the world. Swift shed the country roots she grew up with as if it's second nature to her and showed that she's the greatest pop-singer/songwriter her time. Swift could make the occasion personal and capture the mood. Her early songs, such as the neotribute of Tim McGraw were a testament to her abilities. But, her follow-up album Fearless in 2008 showcased a songwriter finding her voice as well as a wide public. Fearless was able to have significant legs not only in the U.S. where it racked seven platinum singles on the basis of Top Ten hits Love Story and I Belong with Me but throughout the world. It was particularly successful within the U.K. Canada and Australia. Swift managed to build upon her success with Speak Now almost two year years later. Over the next three years her fame grew through the years -the albums - Red (2012), Reputation (2014) and 1989 (2014-2015) in 2014-2015 as she entered a new realm of pop music where her skills were already established. Even when she scaled back her style with the 2020's stripped-down sister album folklore, and Evermore her name remained at the top of the chart, which that she maintained through re-recordings of her older catalogs as well as Midnights and her chart-topping, synth-heavy 2022 collection.
