Meagan Good was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles in the 8th of August, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle managed her while she was in her teens. She grew up within Canyon Country with her three siblings and brothers in California. When she was 4 years old, she began acting. She appeared as an extra to TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. as she began her career. at the age of thirteen, she was cast as Friday in 1995. In 1997 she became known for her role in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste, a troubled teenage girl. She received her first N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nomination. Good performed in short films and also on television in the several years. The actress began taking role roles that were more mature from the beginning of 2000. She was Nina In Cousin Skeeter, a Nickelodeon T.V. show from 1998 through 2001. In addition, she landed small roles in films House Party Down to the last Minute and 3 Strikes. She played Vanessa Scott's role in the 2003 show My Wife and Kids. She was a part of D.E.B.S in 2004, an action-comedy movie that got the actress nominated as Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards of 2005. In the following years, she was in various films like Cookout Venom Waist deep and The Love Guru. After a busy 2012 on T.V. and films, she portrayed the character of Mya in the multi-starring Think Like a Man and Ms. Stevens in Dysfunctional Friends.
