Wilson was a fitness model before she joined the entertainment business in late 1990s. Her entrance into the industry was a result of a WCW backstage tour she took with her ex-boyfriend. She ended up accompanying Scott Steiner to the ring as well, and she remained within the business for a good ten years following that. In addition to competing in WCW, Wilson was also the manager of competitors like David Flair, Billy Kidman and The Filthy Animals, and Shane Douglas. Wilson became a member of WWE after the purchase of WCW in the spring of 2001. Wilson's athleticism helped make her an ideal fit to join WWE during one of the sports and entertainment industry's most exciting time periods. Wilson's partnership with her friend (and sometimes rival) Stacy Keibler was the key player in the WCW's assault on WWE. Once that invasion was fought off, Wilson became a key female wrestler in WWE's women's division, engaging in memorable rivalries against the likes Keibler, Sable and Melina. Family members were also in danger when she took on Dawn Marie for their honor.
